What is IHHT?
IHHT alternates breathing gas mixtures with lower and higher oxygen content. The patient breathes through a mask while resting. A session includes several cycles. The indication and parameters are established within a clinical process.
Why measure the response?
The same oxygen concentration may produce different responses in two people. ReOxy monitors oxygen saturation and pulse rate, and SRT connects these measurements to session control. A preliminary test helps establish individual parameters.
Hypoxia and hyperoxia
The hypoxic phase uses a mixture with less oxygen than ambient air. The device then switches to a hyperoxic phase with an oxygen-enriched mixture. Phase transitions are linked to set parameters and the monitored patient response.
What should be established before a session?
Discuss indications, contraindications and current health status with a physician. Staff must follow the current instructions for the specific model. An online description is not a treatment protocol.
