Before the first patient arrives.

1. Space and equipment

Plan a quiet treatment station with a chair or couch and clear staff access to the patient and device. Check the supplied model’s technical sheet and instructions for power, space and environmental requirements.

2. Staff and responsibilities

Establish who assesses patients, conducts sessions, handles hygiene and maintains records. Training should cover operation, alarms and procedures specified by the manufacturer.

3. A realistic schedule

Allow for preparation and patient changeover as well as treatment time. For example, four available hours with a 40-minute session and a 10-minute turnaround accommodate four complete sessions. This is scheduling capacity, not a forecast of demand or revenue.

4. Scope and after-sales support

Compare device configuration, delivery, commissioning, training, consumables and service. Warranty and financing terms should be stated in the individual quotation.
